Best Gore is a site of unimaginable content, hosting ultra-graphic images and videos of real-life crimes, deaths and suicides. In the most serious way possible, the site is 18-plus, though it rose to a peculiar international prominence earlier this year, when it found itself at the heart of the Luka Magnotta alleged murder case.

The Canadian, who police say killed and dismembered Lin Jun, a Chinese exchange student, allegedly filmed the attack and uploaded it to the site under the title “1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick.” Magnotta was arrested in Berlin and returned to Canada, where he has plead not guilty to murder charges levied against him.
