Cogeco to buy PEER 1 Network Enterprises
MONTREAL - Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX:CCA) says it plans to acquire Internet infrastructure provider PEER 1 Network Enterprises Inc. (TSX:PIX) in a friendly takeover that will offer PEER 1 shareholders $3.85 in cash per share. Cogeco says the offer values PEER 1's equity at about $526 million.
