MSN Canada’s new Homepage
The new MSN.ca launched on Sept. 1, 2009, and since then has been the No. 1 portal in the country, reaching 67% of Canadians online each month.*
To stay on top in the ever changing world of digital media, MSN.ca needs to be constantly innovating to create the best experience possible for our audience. That's why we are unveiling a new redesigned homepage that makes it easier to access the information that matters to you.
Cleaner Design: Based on audience feedback and a national survey, we concentrated on developing a fresh, less cluttered design that's easier to navigate.
More News: The new homepage loads faster so you can quickly stay updated on what's happening in Canada and around the world from respected sources like the CBC, BBC and MSNBC.
Curated Content: MSN's editorial teams in Toronto and Montreal curate the best content from Canadian and international sources to create an informative and entertaining destination built on compelling stories, features and specials.
Opinion: Editor's Picks showcases MSN exclusive opinion and perspective from more than 100 English and French columnists, bloggers and freelancers.
Social Updates: The new social module delivers automatic updates from Hotmail and the latest posts from your social networks including Messenger, Facebook and Twitter.
Must-See Video: Canadians watch more video per capita than any country in the world. An expanded video module showcases the latest news and entertainment updates, as well as new content from MSN International (Bollywood, Telenovelas) and MSN US original programming (Last night on TV, The Surf Report).
Shopping and Much More: There's also an expanded Bing Shopping module that highlights the best deals and daily essentials like weather reports, stock quotes and horoscopes.
Our goal is to combine great design with quality journalism, powerful images and must-see video to make MSN.ca an indispensible destination.
We hope you like it enough to make MSN.ca your homepage and follow us on Facebook. We also want to hear from you. If you want to tell us what you like or dislike, or have an idea for a new feature you would like to see developed, click on the Feedback button at the bottom of the page.
In the coming months we'll continue to refine our design and add features and content based on your input. Together we can create an unbelievable experience.
I invite you to take a tour of the new MSN homepage here.
